Challenge 

Raise awareness of Together We Stand NC and its vision of promoting effective conversations to promote racial understanding and harmony.  

The Essential Idea 

We are a blended society of people from all races, cultures and sexual orientations. For each of us to grow, we need to learn from each other, respect our differences and recognize our humanity.

Result 

In partnership with Fleet Feet Sports and CEP Compression, Together We Stand NC registered more than 500 people for the 5K for Unity at five breweries across North Carolina.

The event raised $7540 for Neighborhood Hope, Black Child Development Institute, Unity Way of Forsyth County and Girls on the Run of the Triangle.
