Bob’s expertise in brand strategy and innovation led to senior strategy positions at international advertising agencies Leo Burnett and Interpublic Group and Fortune 100 companies Sara Lee and Hanesbrands. 

Bob has developed growth strategies and highly effective marketing communications campaigns for some of the world’s most influential brands, including Kellogg’s, United Airlines, Sara Lee, Hanes, Coach and Champion. In addition, he created successful digital and e-commerce strategies for Sara Lee's leading brands. 

Bob received a B.A. and M.A. in marketing/advertising from Michigan State University. He served on boards for the Association of National Advertisers and Grocery Manufacturer’s Association. He is Professor of the Practice at the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business school where he teaches marketing.
