Laura Alderson, Writer

With broad experience in writing for business, higher education and nonprofits, Laura has written for nearly all the media: print, broadcast, social, web, film, video and animation. Among clients served: Duke Health, University of North Carolina, IBM, KPMG, North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, National Park Foundation and the National Museum of Women in the Arts. 

As a journalist, she interviewed Andy Warhol, Mike Wallace, Dizzy Gillespie, Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winners. An outdoorsy type, she’s caved beneath Virginia and West Virginia and climbed a few 14,000-foot peaks in Colorado. 

Laura received a B.A. in journalism and radio, television and motion pictures from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a M.A. in English Writing from Hollins University.
