In his 30-year career as an agency and freelance copywriter, Bill has gained both brand marketing and sales support experience across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, technology, commercial real estate and outdoor sports. His advertising career began in the San Francisco offices of Ketchum Communications and then Foote, Cone & Belding, the home of Levi’s brand advertising.
Clients he has served include Levi’s, Pacific Bell, Blue Cross NC, Nortel, GSK, Carolantic Realty and Big Rock Sports.
Originally trained as a journalist, Bill leveraged a passion for fly-fishing into travel pieces that took him to New Zealand, Canada, Belize, Mexico, the Bahamas and the Rocky Mountains. His novel, “Saltwater Cowboys,” was published by Coastal Carolina Press. He is a graduate of Duke University.
